Avery Dennison, Specialty Tape Division Europe
is located in Turnhout, Belgium with sales presence across Europe.
The plant was founded in 1978 and has more than 400 employees.

The European division is divided into three Business Units :

		Industrial: which supply industries like the automotive, electronics and appliances, building and construction, graphics & packaging and optical & abrasives
		Consumer: which  are applications for the hygienic market as diaper closures
		Medical: supplying self-adhesive products and applications for the medical industry

Since 1987 ISO 9001 has been implemented and in 2003 the certification
was upgraded to the ISO 9001:2000 version.
Besides, the ISO/TS16949 for the automotive industry is implemented,
as is ISO TS13485 for the medical industry. Work is in progress to
implement the environmental standard ISO 14001.
